Helen is a rural PA Business owner who experienced immediate severe, debilitating cardiac and neurological symptoms after an RF Mesh Networked PPL smart meter installation in 2019. Her problems resolved when the meter was moved 250 feet away from the house and down a 20-foot embankment at the back of the property. An initial attempt to move the meter 75 feet away did not help her. The total cost was about $20,000 not including line filters and remediation work in the home. 

Grace and her husband developed severe headaches, nausea, tinnitus, and other symptoms after an RF Mesh networked wireless utility meter was installed on their property near a swing her husband sat on every day. Both needed cataract surgery shortly after the meter was installed, surprising the doctor because he previously told them they would not need cataract surgery for “years”. Her husband was found to have cancer through his body, and he succumbed to his cancer quickly. Grace, as a new widow, begged her children to allow her to live without electricity because her symptoms were so severe. Her dogs were also sick. The utility refused to move the meter. 

Susan, who has multiple sclerosis and Mike, who has stage 4 colon cancer have a son McKenzie who has autism and other disabilities. A wireless “smart” meter was installed on his home without the family’s consent or knowledge in March 2017, while they were away in Florida. When the family arrived back in PA, McKenzie would not enter their home all day. His mom and dad had to drag him into the house. He had a few seizures in the next couple of days. However, on day three, he had 115 seizures and was hospitalized as this was status epilepticus. This continued in the hospital the next day and he had 109 seizures before they got them under control.  The installation of the smart meter started a serious decline in his neurological health. 

Dr. Theresa, a physical therapist, wife and mother of 5 experienced immediate severe headaches, severe chest pain, near syncope, muscle fatigue and debilitation after smart meters were installed in her neighborhood. Her symptoms were so severe she was forced to move out of her home for 2 months leaving her children and husband to live in a home that was remediated and did not have a smart meter. Her family has spent over $40,000 on moving and shielding the meter and home and filtering the electricity. She is no longer able to work or vacation with her family, and is mostly confined to her home. More remediation to the home is needed. She is now at risk of sudden death from cardiac arrhythmia. The utility continues to refuse to accommodate her disability despite many doctors’ letters documenting the need for an analog utility meter.

Jessie is a retired teacher living in rural Pennsylvania. A wireless electric meter was installed on their home in 2017 against their wishes. She immediately developed severe headaches, heart palpitations, tinnitus and progressive hearing loss.  Her symptoms continued until she spent $6,000 in remediation products which helped to lessen but not eliminate the symptoms. She has severe fatigue limiting her mobility and ability to walk. She now requires the use of a walker and a wheelchair.

Leeann was healthy until a smart meter was installed on her home. Immediately. Afterwards she developed chest palpitations, nosebleeds, severe headaches, insomnia, and other serious symptoms. These continued until she spent $6,000 to remediate her house, which lessened but did not eliminate the symptoms. She now gets severe headaches when she is near someone on a cell phone, especially in a car, or if she is near a smart meter. She has a 13-year-old son who developed more severe problems with his autism after the meter was installed. 

Carol, a former township official, developed constant ringing in her ears, eye problems, heart palpitations, sleeplessness, and headaches after the installation of a smart meter. She can't travel because she cannot stay in a building with WiFi, or near smart meters. She writes, "It is very frustrating and disheartening that I have had my daily life invaded with the fourth largest pollutant being Microwave Radiation. causing me harm. I am subjected to pulse modulated radiation caused by the Smart Meter, that I am forced to have on my home if I want electricity. I should have the right to opt out from having a smart meter on my home."

 Rachel is a military veteran who developed a multiple chemical sensitivity as a result of her exposure to burn pits during her military service. Rachel has learned that people with extreme sensitivities to chemicals often have very adverse reactions to electromagnetic radiation. She was forced to sleep in her car the first few days when a smart meter went on her house, while she and her husband developed a plan to keep her safe in the house. 

Milena wrote to us "Mold exposure damaged my nervous system. Now, using a cell phone or a computer is physically painful. I have trouble breathing and the anxiety is so bad that I struggle with suicidal thoughts. I can turn my cell phone off and put it in another room. I can turn my computer off and walk away. But I can’t turn off the smart meter and the added RF exposure affects my sleep and mental health. We are surrounded by EMFs in this world today.  For me and people like me, it’s a struggle to get through the day.  We just want a chance to have a healthy life without technology making it feel like an uphill battle we can never win."

Susan leaves her house only for a hairdresser appointment once a month, for an early morning Monday appointment when no one else is there (and no cellphones). Her husband must do all the shopping. Rebekah was diagnosed with electromagnetic sensitivity by an MD in SW Pennsylvania. When she is exposed to wireless microwave radiation, she experiences severe, neuropathic facial pain, neck pain and fatigue. She has made strict modifications in her life to avoid exposure. 

Mark's daughter had seizures when exposed to wireless microwave radiation emitted by a “smart” meter that was attached to the outside of her bedroom wall. When the “smart” meter was removed, the seizures stopped.
